Tznius is a beautiful concept. ​​ Some people like to poke fun at it nowadays, labeling a tznius girl an "eidel meidel," but the Yiddish word "eidel" actually comes from the German word for "noble."  An eidel girl is a noble girl -- and no wonder: she is a member of the royal Jewish nation.

Royalty means dressing in a dignified, noble fashion.  Royalty means exuding subdued pride in who we are and what we stand for.  Royalty -- in this case, Jewish royalty -- means we represent G-d on earth, and it is our responsibility to look and act the part.
